The Sales and Distribution division of Fireworx Media focuses on South African and African long fiction and non-fiction, handling sales of DVD on a non-exclusive basis and broadcast rights on an exclusive basis.
On the TV side, we licence to local and international broadcasters such as SABC, MNET and Fox International Channels and are sub-agents for the following international sales agencies:
WIDE Management (France), The Film Sales Company (USA) and Telepool (Germany).
We are actively seeking new sub agency partnerships and welcome your inquiries.
Some of the titles licenced to MNET and Fox International Channels over the past year include Return to Goree: Yousou Ndour, Mining for Change, The Choir, Mandela’s Unbanning and Release, Soul Boy, Chimro, Swop, Seapoint Days and Silver Fez.
On the DVD side, our telesales team sells direct to bookstores, re-sellers and retailers, schools, universities, government agencies, NGO’s, museums, galleries and cultural centers.
